LET US ORGANIZE A UNITED STRUGGLE AGAINST IMPERIALIST WARS OF AGGRESSION, UNJUST WARS, AND ALL FORMS OF REACTION AND FASCISM. LET US SEND IMPERIALISM AND ALL FORMS OF REACTION TO THE DUSTBIN OF HISTORY!
Our call to the international proletariat, to the oppressed peoples of the world, to antiimperialist forces, to revolutionaries and democrats!
Like all major dominant systems of exploitation that have existed in history, the imperialist system is grappling with economic, political, social, and military crises. It struggles to survive despite its relentless predatory wars, its boundless oppression, and exploitation.
Our world is going through a period of turbulence, deep unrest, and transformation. Just thirty years ago, imperialism especially Yankee imperialism (the United States) proclaimed the “end of history”! With the “Pax Americana,” it declared that “eternal peace” had become a reality. Through massive propaganda, the idea was spread worldwide that a future of peace, democracy, and prosperity, guaranteed by the “world’s policeman,” was opening up. Developments since those claims have shown that the “paradise” promised by the imperialists is a living hell for the oppressed masses of the world. Not a single day has passed without war and destruction since these promises of a “great paradise.” Never in human history has there been so much food alongside such widespread hunger. More than 25,000 people die of hunger every day. According to official figures, 280 million people in 59 countries suffer from extreme hunger, while more than one billion people face severe food shortages.
At the same time, enormous wealth is concentrated in the hands of a few. The 26 richest billionaires own as much wealth as the poorest 800 million people. While workers and laborers worldwide rapidly lose their purchasing power and their right to work, more and more wealth is created through intensified exploitation for the benefit of monopolies. While the five richest individuals have doubled their fortunes over the past three years, 500 million people have fallen into poverty.
The domination of imperialists in semi-feudal, semi-colonial, and underdeveloped countries, along with imposed agricultural policies, has led to the massive displacement of peasants worldwide. Agricultural lands are continuously plundered by large agrarian monopolies and big landowners, becoming concentrated in their hands. The peasant question primarily the question of land—has gained enormous importance. The largest agricultural producers, the top 1%, control more than 70% of the world’s farmland. Poor peasants, smallholders, and landless peasants who make up nearly half of the world’s population hold only 30% of farmland but produce at least 70% of the world’s food. Imperialist agricultural policies have worsened the situation of poor and landless peasants through increased exploitation and land seizures. Millions of peasants, driven from their land and into deeper poverty, are forced to live in slums in cities. In particular, in semi-feudal and semi-colonial countries, imperialist domination and agrarian policies cause massive rural displacement. Rising migration waves from rural areas are a direct consequence of imperialist-driven semi-feudalism and semi-colonialism.
Since the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, emissions have increased by 60% instead of decreasing. In oppressed countries, new zones have been created under the pretext of environmental protection to allow imperialists to intensify exploitation. Industries and natural resources in these countries have been destroyed, worsening the situation of the masses, especially peasants and indigenous peoples.
Wars that began since 2001 (Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, etc.) have caused the direct and indirect deaths of 4.7 million people.
Today, more than 110 million people worldwide have been displaced by wars, persecution, and conflicts. The Zionist war of aggression against the Palestinian people is no exception it is the true face of imperialism and global reaction. The deadly Zionist occupation of Gaza alone has killed more than 35,000 Palestinians since October 2023, not counting the tens of thousands missing under the rubble. More journalists, doctors, and humanitarian workers have been killed in Palestine than during twenty years of the Vietnam War or eight years of the Iraq War.
Imperialism is reactionary in every aspect it represents a loss of rights. Permanent reaction paves the way for fascism. International laws and treaties on genocide, war crimes, and so-called human rights are discarded by their creators and applied only when imperialist interests are at stake. The repression of solidarity with Palestine in Europe, the United States, and elsewhere has shown that fundamental democratic rights freedom of expression, assembly, and organization are easily violated in imperialist countries. Even the most basic rights of political prisoners are not guaranteed. Hundreds of thousands are persecuted, arrested, killed, or disappeared.
Imperialism has existed at the cost of terrible and destructive wars for the overwhelming majority of humanity. Despite its contradictions and decay, it will not collapse on its own.
Only through the organization and struggle of billions across the globe can imperialists and their lackeys be eliminated from the face of the earth. The masses make history, and nothing can be achieved without them. The task of advanced sections of the people communists, revolutionaries, democrats, conscious workers and peasants, progressive intellectuals, and youth is to unite with the majority, overcome hesitation, and mobilize the struggle of the vast majority.
Imperialism fuels the deep anger of the world’s peoples and creates the material and moral conditions for mass struggle. In many regions, workers organize protests and mass demonstrations to defend their economic, democratic, and political rights.
It is urgent to unite the international proletariat, oppressed peoples, and oppressed nations in a broad national and international front against imperialist aggression, unjust wars, reaction, and fascism. Conditions are favorable to unite the majority of humanity against imperialism.
“Imperialists are paper tigers.” The united power of the oppressed and exploited peoples will tear apart this “paper tiger”!
Imperialism, the highest stage of capitalism, is a decaying monopolistic system of exploitation and plunder, full of contradictions that inevitably lead to its downfall. Its entire structure rests on maximizing profit. The deepening exploitation, destruction of nature, support for reactionary forces, division among peoples, denial of national independence, endless wars for market redistribution, and massive war budgets all serve one purpose: maintaining monopoly domination at any cost.
Since the transition to monopoly capitalism, humanity has endured two world wars, countless regional wars, and occupations. These wars continue today. They are both instruments of domination and sources of immense profit for the war industry.
Imperialism enslaves billions and oppresses entire nations. Workers and oppressed peoples bear the burden of exploitation and brutality under financial capital.
U.S. imperialism has been the hegemonic power since World War II and remains the central actor of the system. Other imperialist powers China, Russia, the UK, Germany, France have increased their influence, yet the U.S. still shapes global dynamics. Despite contradictions among them, imperialists form alliances to preserve the system. As always, it is workers and oppressed peoples who suffer the consequences.
The October Revolution of 1917 and subsequent revolutions liberated a third of humanity, but the setbacks of socialism allowed imperialists to intensify their aggression. However, the conditions that favor imperialism are coming to an end.
Imperialist centers that claim “democracy” increasingly rely on repression. Police, military forces, and fascist organizations are strengthened. This signals intensifying class struggle and preparation against the “gravediggers” of capitalism.
As the crisis deepens, bourgeois manipulation loses effectiveness, and workers and oppressed peoples express resistance in the streets even in imperialist centers. Despite repression, resistance continues globally, especially in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. The Palestinian resistance is a clear example.
These developments signal a rising revolutionary wave. What is lacking is organization and leadership. Stronger, broader alliances must be built. History demands decisive intervention.
Anti-imperialist struggle is part of class struggle. The founding of the Anti-Imperialist League (AIL) is a concrete step in this direction. It emphasizes the need for a coherent anti-imperialist line based on the scientific worldview of the proletariat and aims to play an active role in transforming society.
The AIL mobilizes for struggle against imperialism while recognizing the limitations of non-proletarian forces. These limits can be overcome through the development of proletarian consciousness.
The AIL represents the legitimate demands of workers, peasants, and oppressed peoples. It seeks not just opposition, but transformation.
Anti-imperialist struggle is inseparable from democratic struggle. Bourgeois democracy has decayed, and genuine democracy now has an anti-imperialist character.
The AIL identifies imperialism as the root cause of hunger, poverty, inequality, and war. Humanity must either submit or resist. The AIL stands as part of this struggle.
It defends resistance to unjust wars, supports liberation struggles, defends political prisoners, workers’ rights, peasant rights, and the right to self-determination. It opposes discrimination and supports women, youth, and minorities.
It fights for healthcare access, against privatization, against repressive migration policies, and addresses root causes of forced migration. It links environmental destruction to imperialist exploitation.
Our call to all antiimperialist forces:
Capitalism turns everything into commodities. Human beings, nature, and life itself are reduced to profit-making tools. This system shapes society and consciousness to accept exploitation as inevitable. We must fight it on all fronts and target its root.
Poverty, unemployment, exploitation, wars, displacement, environmental destruction, and fascism are the results of imperialism.
Resistance exists worldwide, but lacks unified organization. Without unity and correct leadership, victories remain temporary.
Only unity under correct leadership can defeat imperialism. History proves this.
We have the experience of past struggles. Victories were achieved through unity against imperialism. This is what we need today. The AIL is a step toward that goal.
The AIL provides a comprehensive framework for global anti-imperialist struggle, uniting oppressed classes and peoples.
Workers, peasants, and oppressed peoples pay a heavy price under imperialism. Instead of fighting separately, we must unite.
From Latin America to Asia, from Palestine to Europe, resistance is growing. We call on you to become the united voice of this struggle.
We believe in the power of billions striving for a better world.
We call for building the Anti-Imperialist League to unite masses under proletarian leadership, support liberation struggles, and build a global antiimperialist front.
We form the antiimperialist barricade of the oppressed.
We call on all forces to organize within the AIL.
Unite the struggles of the international proletariat and oppressed peoples to eliminate imperialism!
Against imperialist wars, unjust wars, fascism, and reaction: Build the Anti-Imperialist League!
