Report on the Protests Against the Zionist Entity (August 1st)
Following the signing of the “water cooperation agreement” between the “Israeli” Embassy and the government of the State of Chihuahua, a local call emerged to defend the water of the people of Chihuahua and oppose the agreement signed with the Zionist entity. Very soon, this call received the support of various organizations and collectives at the national level that are part of the solidarity movement with Palestine.
In Chihuahua and Ciudad Juárez, various organizations and collectives carried out significant mobilizations, both at the Junta Central del Agua y Saneamiento (JCAS), the Government Palace, and the Puente Libre in Ciudad Juárez (border crossing with El Paso, Texas).

In various states across the country, the movement called for demonstrations on August 1st, receiving widespread dissemination. As we announced in a communiqué, the Frente del Pueblo Sol Rojo and the Promoting Committee of the Antiimperialist League (LAI-Mx) joined this call, putting forward some central tasks:
- Revitalize the solidarity movement with Palestine in Mexico.
- Denounce and reject the interference of criminal Zionism in Mexico.
- Show solidarity with the people of Chihuahua defending their water.
- Reinforce our call for the construction of an authentic Antiimperialist Front in Mexico.
Below, we present a brief report on the activities in which we were present.

Aguascalientes.
We participated in the march organized by collectives, which began at the Glorieta del Quijote and ended at Plaza Patria. During the march and at the rally, FP-Sol Rojo and LAI posters were distributed.

Oaxaca.
Leaflets were distributed and a rally was held in the Zócalo; posters and dazibaos were put up at the Palace of Ignominy (Government Palace), and a monumental Palestinian flag was displayed.

In addition, we participated in the feminist march called by various organizations on the 20th anniversary of “the march of the pots and pans,” which led to the occupation of the Canal 9 facilities during the APPO insurrection in 2006. The march began at the “Not One Less” Antimonumenta, and during the march, FP-Sol Rojo and AIL posters were also put up.

Isla Cozumel, Q. Roo
We participated in the rally called by various collectives at the Cozumel flagpole. There, more signatures were collected in support of the demand to sever relations with “Israel,” and it was denounced that Zionist war criminals from the IDF use the island as a “resting place.” Leaflets were also distributed, and FP-Sol Rojo and AIL posters were put up.

CDMX.
We participated in the antifascist march called by various youth collectives, which began at the Angel of Independence and ended at Plaza Palestina Libre (formerly the Juárez Hemicycle) in the Alameda. During the march, leaflets were distributed and FP-Sol Rojo and AIL posters were put up. Comrades from the LAC also joined this activity.

This national day of protests against the Zionist entity in our country has made clear the rejection by the peoples of Mexico of its interference, with the demand to sever relations with that thing they call “Israel” growing stronger. Furthermore, it has demonstrated the strong support for the Palestinian people and their heroic National Resistance. The path is correct; the task is to strengthen the solidarity movement with Palestine and build an authentic Anti-Imperialist Front.
Join the Promoting Committee of the Antiimperialist League (AIL-Mx)!
Antiimperialists of the world, unite!
From the river to the sea, Palestine will prevail!
From Mexico to Palestine, the struggle does not end!
