Reports on the AIL Week of Action

In Düsseldorf, activists from ROSA organized an event at the LZ entitled “The Current Situation of the People’s War in India.” The event addressed recent developments in India, as well as the activities of reactionaries and informants and the current two-line struggles. Fifteen people attended, and afterwards a solidarity photo was spontaneously taken.

In Cologne, a mural painted in the Bilderstöcken neighborhood was sent to us.

In Dortmund, a short flash rally was held on Münsterstraße. Before and after the rally, leaflets containing the AIL’s call were distributed in nearby cafés and to passers-by.

From Karlsruhe, we found the following text:
Stop Operation Kagaar!
With this contribution, we join the week of action called by the international AIL.
Since 2024, the Indian state has been carrying out Operation Kagaar. Operation Kagaar is described by the organizers as a campaign of annihilation against the Maoist movement in India. At the same time, they state that the indigenous Adivasi population is being killed and displaced in order to clear their lands for mining monopolies, benefiting imperialist powers such as India’s major partners — the United States and the United Kingdom — as well as Germany, India’s largest trading partner within the EU.
They further state that left-wing protests in the cities, including those defending workers’ and students’ rights, are criminalized, linked to the Maoist guerrilla movement and subjected to severe repression. According to the statement, sexualized violence and torture are integral parts of the operation.
The photo was taken together with internationalists expressing solidarity.
Stop Operation Kagaar!
Down with Modi’s Hindutva-Fascist Regime!
