Antiimperialist Front Holds Conference in Quito in Solidarity with the People’s Struggles in India
Internationalist Solidarity with the Peoples Resisting in India
On Saturday, October 3, 2026, a conference-workshop of leaders of the Antiimperialist Front of Ecuador was held in Quito, with the participation of organizations representing workers, peasants, students, merchants, intellectuals, and various popular sectors of the country.
During this space for political debate and education, participants analyzed the situation facing the peoples of India and the repressive offensive carried out by the Indian state in the service of imperialist interests, particularly U.S. imperialism, through the so-called Operation Kagaar, primarily directed against the Communist Party of India (Maoist).
Throughout the event, participants denounced the serious consequences of these repressive and genocidal policies for Indigenous peoples and popular sectors, as well as the persecution faced by those resisting the dispossession of their territories and natural resources.
Leaders from various popular organizations also presented an internationalist solidarity campaign in support of the struggles taking place in India and in defense of the rights of oppressed peoples.
The Anti-Imperialist Front of Ecuador expressed its firm rejection of all forms of imperialist intervention, domination, and plunder, reaffirming its solidarity with peoples facing violence, militarization, repression, and genocide.
In this context, the organization endorsed the call issued by the Antiimperialist League (AIL) to strengthen international solidarity among peoples and organizations struggling for New Democracy.
Against imperialism and the genocide of peoples!
Long live internationalist solidarity!
Forward with the struggle of the peoples of the world!
