Germany: ‘Lal Salaam – Lal Salaam’ chants echoed during the LLL march in Berlin!
To commemorate the anniversary of the assassination of the founders of the Communist Party of Germany (KPD), Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht, and in memory of Lenin, the annual LLL demonstration took place in Berlin on 11 January.
Partizan Germany and the Red League formed a joint bloc under the slogan ‘No to Operation Kagaar! – Long live the people’s war in India!’
With this joint organisation, they expressed their solidarity with the Communist Party of India (Maoist) and the people’s war it leads. The demonstration echoed with ‘Lal Salaam – Lal Salaam’ slogans, and banners honoured the martyrs of the people’s war in India and praised people’s wars worldwide.
In addition, numerous Spanish-language speeches sharply condemned the current aggression of US imperialism against Venezuela and its threatening stance towards the peoples of Latin America. Together with numerous international comrades from various parties and organisations, a militant and determined bloc was formed at the demonstration, which clearly expressed its support for the people’s war in India and the struggles of the oppressed peoples, especially in Latin America at present. The speeches called for the establishment of the Antiimperialist League (AIL).
Despite the cold weather conditions, the demonstration took place with more than ten thousand participants chanting lively battle slogans.
