The NATO and Antiimperialist War Platform, of which AİL is a member, has called for a demonstration on 4 July.
The Platform Against NATO and Imperialist War (PAN-IW) — a coalition of revolutionary and democratic organisations, intellectuals and writers opposed to NATO and imperialist war policies — has announced that it will organise protest actions in various European cities on 4 July.
In a joint statement issued by the Platform, it was stated that mass demonstrations would be organised in European cities in opposition to the NATO meeting to be held in Ankara on 7–8 July.
The statement included the following remarks:
“We call on local and migrant workers and labourers of all nationalities living in European cities to take part in the rallies and demonstrations to be held on 4 July in Brussels, Paris, London, Athens, Vienna, Zurich, Frankfurt, Cologne and Hamburg.
We call on you to intensify the struggle against imperialist alliances, militarism and unjust wars, in the spirit of the brotherhood of peoples, freedom, equality and international solidarity.”
