AIL Comrades Join “Rheinmetall Entwaffnen” Demonstration Against Militarism and Imperialism
War and crisis within the imperialist monopolies are intensifying. In the Federal Republic of Germany, cuts to social services continue to advance, while militarization is being pushed further and further. Arms corporations such as Rheinmetall deliberately exploit these conditions to generate ever greater profits.
We’ve had enough!
That is why we joined our comrades from @il_karlsruhe at the Rheinmetall Entwaffnen demonstration in Cologne. There, we sent a clear message against increasing militarization and warmongering. Other AIL comrades from different cities also took part.
The Rheinmetall Entwaffnen Camp is one of the largest anti-militarist camps in Germany. This year, it took place in Cologne from September 1 to September 6. Every year, RME brings together a broad spectrum of anti-militarist, anti-imperialist, feminist, and many other forces. The camp features a wide range of talks, actions, and the large closing demonstration on Saturday.
Enough is enough! Get active against militarism, cuts to social services, and imperialism!
