In Cologne Red Women’s Movement Mobilizes Against the Reactionary “March for Life”
Yesterday, the so-called “March for Life” took place in Cologne, as it does every year. It brings together a bunch of reactionaries of various stripes, ranging from fundamentalist Christians and reactionaries from the bourgeois parties to outright fascists. Every year, counter-demonstrations are organized against this crowd. Under the slogan “Abolish §218! Women, fight and defend yourselves!”, comrades from the Red Women’s Movement also took part. They distributed copies of the newspaper “Klassenschwester” and hundreds of leaflets containing their call for the demonstration. The police attacks on the counter-demonstration were loudly denounced and fought back against. Women, fight and defend yourselves!
