I SING TO YOU, FREEDOM: FOR JUSTICE AND DIGNITY
Since the events that took place on May 19, 2022, several comrades have been unjustly prosecuted. So far, six comrades have been acquitted and three convicted on the basis of insufficient evidence, including the testimony of an informant and evidence stemming from alleged international criminal assistance. In addition, there have been reports of Omar being tortured in various detention centers that have been turned into concentration camps. For these reasons, popular organizations and solidarity groups denounce what they describe as a policy of persecution and criminalization.
In response to this situation, the Anti-Imperialist Front EC invites everyone to take part in the solidarity concert “I Sing to You, Freedom: For Justice and Dignity”, this Friday, September 25, at 6:00 p.m., in the Demetrio Aguilera Malta Hall of the Ecuadorian House of Culture.
Solidarity is also built through art, culture, and grassroots organizing. Your presence is an act of support, remembrance, and resistance.
