Rally in support of Palestinian and Lebanese prisoners in Rennes.
Last Friday, FSE Rennes, the Communist Youth, and the AIL were present at the rally in support of Palestinian and Lebanese prisoners.
After successfully fighting to secure the release of our comrade Georges Ibrahim Abdallah last year, we continue to fight for the freedom of other prisoners: we answered the call of the AIL to support Ahmad Sa’adat, leader of the FPLP, who has been imprisoned since 2002 in Jericho prison in Palestine at Israel’s request.
In France, those who struggle against Zionism are harshly repressed, such as Teba, a student at the Sorbonne, who was brought before a criminal court because she refused to allow Zionists in her class group. Or Alex, an AIL activist who has been taken into police custody many times and lost his job due to repression.
In this same logic of repression, they sought to ban anti-Zionism by passing the Yadan Law. Let’s not be mistaken: if they are withdrawing it today, it is only to push it through more effectively in June. We must not weaken, but on the contrary intensify the struggle against Zionism!
Georges Abdallah has won Palestine will win!
