The AIL took part in the Fête de l’Humanité festival in Paris

The Anti-Imperialist League (AIL) was actively present at the festival this weekend. AIL activists distributed leaflets on the festival grounds, held discussions with various mass organisations and carried out educational work. The Palestinian resistance and anti-imperialist work in particular met with great interest among festival visitors.
As part of the event, the ‘Campagne Unitaire pour la Libération de Georges Abdallah’ also organised a seminar. Solidarity was expressed with the Lebanese revolutionary Georges Ibrahim Abdallah, who was imprisoned for over 40 years and regained his freedom this year. The successes of this struggle were also highlighted. The speeches at the platform focused on the message ‘We have won our struggle and will continue on this course.’ The representatives of the platform emphasised that participation in the struggle would intensify and that they would support the struggle of the Anti-Imperialist League.
As part of the festival, AIL volunteers with AIL banners took part in both the solidarity rally for Palestine and the rally celebrating the success of Georges Abdallah. At the rallies, solidarity slogans were chanted for the freedom of Georges Abdallah and the struggle of the Palestinian people.
