INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ANTIIMPERIALIST EVENT IN THE NAPLE
The Per la Democrazia Popolare collectives carried out propaganda actions consisting of putting up posters and flyers at several universities and in various locations in the city centers of Naples, Rome, Pisa, Trento, and Milan to promote the initiative in solidarity with oppressed peoples and the presentation of the International Antiimperialist League (AIL), which will take place on October 31 in Naples, at Sala Sole, in Vico Freddo a Rua Catalana, starting at 10:30 AM.
The event will be a public political gathering dedicated to presenting the International Antiimperialist League, featuring a section devoted to culture and art, followed by speeches on the theme of the initiative delivered by Italian and international delegates. A delegation from the Communist Youth (Jeunesse Communiste) of France and the French section of the International Antiimperialist League will be present. Representatives of the Italian organizations that have joined the League, including the Italian Marxist-Leninist Party, will then speak. The event will conclude with an open debate on antiimperialism and its relevance today.
The organizers of the event consider it of primary importance to promote opposition to the imperialist system. They also emphasize the need to strengthen internationalist solidarity with peoples struggling for their right to self-determination and for a future of New Democracy, uninterruptedly advancing towards socialism, as in the cases of India, the Philippines, Peru, and Turkey. For this reason, it is essential to promote red and revolutionary internationalist support, capable of connecting different experiences of resistance and building a common perspective of emancipation.
