Demonstration on Nakba day
On May 17th Seattle Revolutionary Youth and the South Seattle Struggle Committee marched the streets alongside the Hands off Iran coalition to commemorate 78 years since the Nakba and 78 years of RESISTANCE!
78 years ago Zionist Fascists backed by western Imperialism expelled and killed 100,000’s of Palestinians in the creation of Israel. This event is called the Nakba, or catastrophe in Arabic- but is also known as the Day of Palestinian struggle. We don’t want to only treat this day as a day of mourning, but a day to celebrate the ongoing and steadfast Resistance of the Palestinian people against their oppressors!
