LONG LIVE THE PEOPLE’S WAR IN INDIA!

The reactionary fascist Indian state and the fascist Modi regime continue their uninterrupted repression, attacks and arrests against the oppressed peoples of India, the Adivasi, poor peasants, workers, as well as revolutionary, democratic and opposition forces.
As the Anti Imperialist League (AIL), we declare that we stand in internationalist solidarity with the just struggle of the Indian people against imperialism, exploitation, oppression and state violence, as well as with the People’s War being waged for the New Democratic Revolution, for socialism and communism, and for the uninterrupted revolution carried out by the Maoist communists who lead the struggle of the Adivasi, the Naxalites and the oppressed classes.
The Anti Imperialist League (AIL) decided at its founding congress held in April 2026 to establish “Solidarity Committees with the People of India” in a spirit of strong solidarity with the revolutionary struggle of the Indian people.
We call on all anti imperialists around the world to establish “Solidarity Committees with the People of India” in their countries and on their continents, in the spirit of international revolutionary solidarity.
These committees are intended to help strengthen the voice of international solidarity, coordinate joint actions, and make the resistance against the attacks of the fascist regime visible.
In this spirit, we call for international solidarity actions from 26 September to 3 October 2026 under the slogan: “LET US STRENGTHEN INTERNATIONALIST REVOLUTIONARY SOLIDARITY WITH THE PEOPLE OF INDIA!”
We call on all anti imperialists, revolutionaries, democrats, our class brothers and sisters, and the oppressed peoples of the world to raise their voices against the ongoing military operations, massacres, blockades, arrests, political repression and the suppression of the people’s right to organize in India.
From 26 September to 3 October, in all countries and regions where we are active, let us organize street demonstrations, rallies, press statements, information events and solidarity actions. We also call for powerful and mass protests in front of Indian embassies and diplomatic missions.
TO THE OPPRESSED PEOPLES OF THE WORLD!
The ruling classes of India, supported by the imperialist powers, especially the USA and the UK, and strengthened through their expanded economic, political and military relations, are trying to suppress the revolutionary and democratic struggle of the people.
The operations, massacres and attacks carried out by the Indian state and the fascist Modi regime against those regions in which the People’s War enjoys strong social support aim to open these areas to the interests of mining companies and major monopolies, to expose them to the looting and plunder of imperialist corporations, and to drive the poor peasants from their land.
The mining companies and imperialist monopolies that seek to exploit and plunder the region’s mineral resources act in concert with the comprador bourgeoisie and the class of landlords, the local collaborators of imperialism. Through these reactionary and collaborating classes, imperialism attempts to exploit the Indian people, to seize the wealth of the country, and to obstruct the ongoing struggle of the New Democratic Revolution.
But these efforts are in vain.
The deeply rooted struggle of the people in India, together with the revolutionary and progressive forces, will withstand and break through all attacks and encirclements.
The People’s War will sooner or later be victorious.
Since the Naxalbari Uprising of 1967, fascist attacks against the Maoist communists who organize the uprising and liberation struggle of the Adivasi, the Naxalites and the oppressed classes in line with the New Democratic Revolution have continued without interruption. During the clashes in which the Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Maoist), the communist leader Basavaraj, the brave son of the Adivasi people Hidma, and hundreds of commanders and fighters of the People’s War were martyred, the Indian rulers have waged a psychological war through the class collaborators Sono, Devji and others who betrayed the revolutionary cause and joined the counter revolution.
Through this systematic and intense campaign, the Indian ruling classes aim to dismantle the People’s War being waged in India and break the hope of the oppressed peoples.
The betrayal of certain former leaders who have sided with the state and abandoned the revolutionary cause and the people is being used by the Indian ruling classes as part of a broad psychological warfare. The goal is not only to weaken organizational structures, but also to break the faith of the masses in change, liberation and in the Marxist Leninist Maoist Communist Party leading this struggle.
On 5 September, in New Delhi, on the occasion of India’s 79th Independence Day, the fascist Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that they are now facing a new struggle against those intellectuals who stand ideologically on the same line as the decades long Maoist uprising. He labeled these individuals as “dimagi Naxals,” meaning “mental or intellectual Naxalites” or “Naxalites per mindset,” openly admitting how deeply they fear the strong ideological influence of Maoist ideology within Indian society.
This time, he targeted those groups he calls “dimagi Naxals,” stating that they must be identified, isolated and arrested.
This rhetoric clearly shows that the attacks of the Indian state are not limited to the areas of armed struggle. The groundwork is being laid to criminalize a broad spectrum of people, from academics and journalists to human rights defenders, students, workers’ and peasants’ organizations, and the revolutionary democratic opposition.
The fear of the ruling classes toward revolutionary thought is not unfounded. For as long as oppression and exploitation exist, resistance against them will also exist. The peoples’ desire for freedom, equality and liberation cannot be extinguished through repression. The People’s War cannot be stopped.
INTERNATIONALIST SOLIDARITY IS THE WEAPON OF THE PEOPLES
Strengthening solidarity with the people of India today does not only mean opposing state repression in India. It means taking a stand against the imperialist capitalist system of exploitation and oppression, against unjust imperialist wars, plunder and occupation policies that inflict suffering and massacres upon the oppressed worldwide, and standing in solidarity with the just resistance and struggles of oppressed peoples.
This solidarity is part of the international anti imperialist struggle against imperialism, exploitation, militarism, political repression, the plunder of the peoples’ lands and natural resources, and the seizure of democratic rights.
The anti imperialist struggle cannot be confined within the borders of a single country. If the attacks of imperialism are international, then the solidarity and common struggle of the peoples must also be internationalist.
For this reason, the Anti Imperialist League (AIL) calls on all progressive, revolutionary, democratic and anti imperialist forces to strengthen solidarity with the people of India from 26 September to 3 October 2026.
Let us raise our voices wherever we are. Expose the repressive policies of the Indian state. Strengthen solidarity with the revolutionary political prisoners in India’s prisons. Organize mass democratic protests in front of Indian embassies and diplomatic missions. Stand in solidarity with the People’s War being waged in India against all forms of blockades and attacks.
