Finally, on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the martyrdom of another great revolutionary leader, Chairman Gonzalo, we recite a celebrated passage from his resplendent speech, delivered when he was captured by the old Peruvian state and the CIA:
“We are here in these circumstances; some think this is a great defeat. They are dreaming! We tell them to keep dreaming. It is simply a setback, nothing more! A setback along the road! The road is long, and along it we shall reach our destination and triumph! You will see! You will see! […] This is a task! We will accomplish it because of what we are! And because of the obligation we have towards the proletariat and the people!”
