Long live international workers day
On May 1st, the Struggle Committees, Revolutionary Youth, Nidal, SUPER, and the American Federation of teachers (AFT) took to the streets of Rainier Beach to celebrate International Workers Day with an antiimperialist, and revolutionary march.
Workers and students joined together in the streets to fight US imperialism, with speakers connecting the struggle of workers in Seattle with the struggle of the oppressed people across the globe. In particular the People’s Wars in Peru, Turkey, India, and the Philippines were highlighted as shining examples of the only path for the working classes’ liberation. We extended our heartfelt solidarity with the heroic wars of National Resistance in Palestine and Iran as well! .
An effigy of Imperialist in chief – Donald Trump, was destroyed and the rag of US imperialism was burned. Banners were in English, Spanish, Somali, and Oromo – reading messages in support of the workers of the world, the People’s War in India, and the Iranian national resistance
