Action in London in Solidarity with the People of India
An action was held in front of the Indian High Commission in London in solidarity with the people of India.
The Antiimperialist League (AIL) declared a week of solidarity with the people of India in response to the Indian state’s attacks against the People’s War led by the Communist Party of India (Maoist) and the revolutionary struggle of the Indian people.
As part of this campaign, Partizan organized an action yesterday at 2:00 p.m. in front of the Indian High Commission in London. AGEB, ADHK, AVEG-KON and the Antiimperialist Front also participated.
Speeches were delivered in support of the People’s War and the revolutionary struggle in India, while the death sentences handed down to 10 Maoists were protested.
During the action, which attracted the attention of passers-by, leaflets in English and Turkish were distributed. At the end of the action, posters and a statement were left at the entrance of the High Commission building.
